Saturday AM Session Thoughts

What a wonderful morning session.  Here are some thoughts from those who helped take notes for the session.

THOUGHTS:
  • To hear a speaker speak in his native language is a great sight to see that we are a world wide church with leaders called from all corners of the earth.
  • Applying eternal truths bring freedom. The truths are blessings of God, manifestations of God’s love.
    • That is why obedience brings freedom, power, hope.  
  • Seek the Spirit of Christ and the spirit of revelation - these will make us satisfied with our decisions.
  • Your testimony will guide and direct your throughout the rest of your life. Keep it updated!:)

TO-DOs:

  • Make better use of ward and (family[?]) councils!  
    • It’s about rescuing those in need!
    • It’s a personal work
  • Come to Sacrament prepared to feel a renewal to our souls
  • Always be engaged in the rescue of those in need
  • Always remember whose disciples we are and which way we face (God first, man second)
  • Take responsibility, go to work so that there is something for God to help us with.
    • Recognize that God will not live our lives for us. We must choose to have joy, happiness, and freedom from sin.
    • Utilize the spirit of revelation.
  • Defend against personal inclinations to go astray
    • Learn to live up to our potential
  • Search the Word of God
    • Read and Study Past and Modern Prophet
  • Consider, ponder, strive to believe and be grateful for God providing Prophets, Seers and Revelators
  • Ask in the name of Jesus Christ.
  • Do God’s will, know of the doctrine. - LIVE THEM!
  • Listen for God’s voice.
    • Ask Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for truth. Ask with a sincere heart and with real intent - having faith in Christ.
  • Gain a Testimony! Keep it burning!
    • Do not delay receiving your testimony.
  • Incline your hearts and minds toward God
    • The Church is not just for perfect people but is for all to come to Christ and be perfected in Him.
  • Pursue our individual search for truth.
