Talk: Kazuhiko Yamashita - (山下和彦)- Of the Seventy

• Story of wearing the father’s coat. Serving in the same country the father served also.
• How beautiful upon the mountains...
• When was 17 I didn’t understand the message, but I had a special feeling about the missionaries and I wanted to be like them.
• May not understand the message, but like how they feel when around the missionaries (Implication:  example is powerful and understanding will come over them as testimony matures?)
• Your message is of love, a message of hope, and a message of faith
• Was enveloped in the Holy Spirit from the experience
• even though I didn’t immediately understand the message, I felt the missionary’s love for me
• Missionaries are called by the Lord
• Three things a future missionary should have:
  • 1. A desire to preach the gospel
    • Know how hard people are striving to know the gospel
  • 2. To develop your testimony
  • 3. Love others
• The Lord requires a willing heart and an open mind
• We are our Father Heaven’s Children
• The Lord loves us and will always love us.
